I have worked in the IT industry for 13 years and specialised in web-based content management systems since 2002. From 2001 to 2006. I managed and part-owned tasmanstudios ltd, a digital and industrial design company based in Wellington, New Zealand. I am currently self-employed and living in New Plymouth, New Zealand.

My last major project was implementing both the websites and intranet for the Office of the Auditor-General and AuditNZ. I was responsible for implementing the design, structure and functionality of the sites which were all built in Plone, configuration of the intranet server, and liaison between the web hosting company and the OAG.

The websites were ranked 1st and 3rd of all NZ government websites when audited for compliance with NZ Government Web Standards and 4th and 13th in overall best practice assessment.
